The Milton Players Theatre Group relies on the continued support of the community to mount productions. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into every show, from acting to set building and props, from backstage crew to producing and directing. If you are interested in getting involved in a production, please use our Contact Us Form or Become a Member, and we will send you details of ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year. No experience is necessary, we will train you!
Additionally, we offer advertising opportunities for local businesses, sponsorship tiers for our patrons, and are always on the lookout for unique costumes and set piece donations. Read on to discover all the ways you can help to bring our productions to life!
An active membership is required for all cast and crew working on a Milton Players production and is valid for one year. Click here for membership registration. In addition to working on shows, membership also has the following benefits:
- Be kept up to date on all MPTG activities
- Receive first notification on all volunteer opportunities
- Receive a 15% discount on MPTG program and website advertising
- Have access to the membership only section of our website
- Receive discounts on tickets for MPTG productions
- Are eligible to vote at our AGM (annual general meeting) and any special meetings of the members
- Are invited to members-only events
- Are eligible for additional membership programs as they become available
Let your community know you support the arts by advertising in our program! Programs are handed out at each show for our guests to take home, and are also available to view on our website. Our programs reach thousands of local theatre patrons annually and are a great way to draw attention to businesses in the area.
