Accusations, mistaken identities, and romances run wild in this traditional, laugh-out-loud farce.
Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancees, are hot on their trail.
They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down.
Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.

MEET THE CAST
Whitney returns to the Milton stage after stealing hearts in 2024’s romantic comedy Real Estate. She was also seen in 2023’s Murder on the Orient Express and 2022’s CLUE: On Stage.
Inese in back on the Milton stage as the commanding “Mother Superior”. She was last seen in our 2024 production of A Murder Is Announced. For other groups, she has been seen in A Funeral To End all Funerals with KWLT and Oliver! with Theatre Ancaster.
Jester Award winning actor Kristoffer Brown is back on the Milton stage after last appearing in 2023’s Murder on the Orient Express and The Foursome. As a Director, he has also helmed our productions of Bienvenue Oh Trout Lake and Nana’s Naughty Knickers.
We’re thrilled to have Kathlyn making her Milton Players debut in Drinking Habits. She has also been seen in Vintage Loft’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre as “Inspector Canon” and with ACT’s production of The Games Afoot as “Inspector Goring”.
Simon is making his foray back to the stage for the first time in over 10 years, after having last been seen in 2014’s Bedtime Stories. He’s a powerhouse behind the scenes as well, having directed Things My Mother Taught Me and stage managed Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses.
Jessica is back on the Milton stage after appearing in 2024’s A Murder is Announced and 2023’s A Murder on the Orient Express. She has also been seen in Georgetown Little Theatre’s Perfect Wedding and has also worked with Burlington Theatre, Waterdown Theatre and Aldershot Players.
THEA Award Nominated Actress Kim Evans returns to the Milton stage after last being seen as the iconic “Mrs. White” in CLUE: On Stage. Other Milton Players shows she’s starred in include Neil Simon’s Rumors, The Game’s Afoot and Noises Off.
After appearing in last season’s A Fox on the Fairway, Scott is thrilled to be back on the Milton Stage in Drinking Habits. Other Milton credits include The Foursome and Noises Off.
