CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

DOUGLAS DUPONT (Age range 30+) – Charming, composed, and quietly observant, Douglas is mistaken for a government agent but is actually a writer for a destination wedding magazine. He’s caught in a whirlwind of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and unexpected attention from nearly every woman at Lover’s Landing. Actors should bring natural charisma, strong comedic instincts, and the ability to play both the straight man and reluctant romantic lead in this fast-paced farce.

PETER MUDD (Age range 30+) – Well-meaning, earnest, and perpetually in the wrong place at the wrong time. Peter is Traci’s devoted fiance, eager to enjoy their wedding getaway – if only he could avoid the chaos caused by Candy and the wrath of his formidable Mother-In-Law.  Actors shoudl have strong physical comedy skills, great timing, and be able to play the charming, slightly hapless romantic who never gives up on love, even when he’s literally knocked out.

These roles can potentially be played by the same actor.
